Project now back from dyno and ive just been for a very short test ride. Got a slight weep from one fork seal so i'll change those before mot. Also a little popping on the overrun but seems to be running well. I already have an idea on what to do to it next, it might just be one of those projects thats never actually finished! Chinese levers/master cylinder look funky but might have to go in favour of originals.

I can see where you're going with that, it does look cool as it is though Smile

If you mean something like this, please don't. The flat-tracker look is much preferable.

Wow well done! nice paint job. Maybe paint the wheels black ? Where did the battery go, at the taillight ?

EDIT: found the answer in another topic. Mind to share the exact battery type ?

Yeah the battery is an Aliant ylp07 from Sportsbikeshop. It measures 114 x 40 x 90mm and lies flat under the seat with most of the other electrical bits, the reg/rec is mounted behind the airbox to allow moŕe air circulation. I had a cheap megaphone type can but it was way too loud for me so I tried extending the very short baffle and wrapping it but it just strangled the motor so I got the Delkevic short trioval which is (allegedly) road legal but still fruity. Primary jets and mains are both bigger with needles lifted to suit the can and Hiflo air filter. Actually when seen in the flesh the red paint is rather dull, almost brownish so I may have to do something with that over winter. It was just cheap rattle cans from the local warehouse. It started life as a 2002 500s in black which had stood for 6 years in a ladies garage and was disgusting. All in and with the exception of the dyno setup, it has cost me a grand including buying it in the first place. Ive had fun doing it and I'm sure the tinkering will continue!

Almost there. Cb10

Possibly consider 2-toneing the seat cowl to give a more of-a-piece look ?

Yes indeed. But I seem to have a new idea about once a week so we'll see. Decided to go back to  the original levers but front master cylinder is completely cacked up. Ive stripped it and tried to order a repair kit but honda are out of stock till mid August. I'll try David Silver.

Tiny red and black infill panel would finish it off

Bugger! Fitted the master cylinder kit and.....nothing! I've put a bit of fluid in with no internals and it runs through no problem but it seems like the fluid is not getting to the front of the piston to be pushed down the hose. I've cleaned up the old kit and put that back in and it's the same, which makes me think I'm doing something wrong. There only seems to be one way to put it together so I'm stumped! Any ideas welcome.
