Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Saddle specs Empty Saddle specs

Post by muttley1 on Sun 04 Nov 2018, 2:24 pm

Afternoon,

damp ol' day so have been sorting through some boxes of spares and I've a couple of spare saddles, both with different Honda codes. Checking with the saddles on the bike they look pretty similar but a couple do seem a little longer. Anyone know if there were different seats for different years?

Codes moulded onto the saddles are MY5 8600 77200, seem to be 95 -96 only and the other one is MY5 0504 which is fitted to a '99 bike...

cheers

The one fitted to my other halfs 99 bike seems a bit too short for the bike however, the part number seemed correct (I'll have to check when she's home). I'm buying another seat today. I'll check the part number but if it turns out too short again I may need to talk to you about the ones that seem a little longer...
