Why worry. I repainted my wheels and they looked wonderful and all sparkly gold.

For about 2 weeks.

Then I hit an unmarked roadworks trench and wrote them both off.

I don't need to do my wheels, they're fine.I want to do the grab handle and footrest hangers, they seriously need attention and I've got a bit of a blavk n gold theme going on!

No idea about the paint code, but it's tempting to start with some thing like this:

https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-metallic-spray-paint-gold-400ml/p/0413843

that's nice and cheap and spray it on some kind of unwanted object and see if it is a good colour match. There are also a few from Halfords if you don't like the wilco option Smile

I suspect that you'll also need some kind of clear to spray over the top if you want it to be shiny rather than matt.

Also, just a thought, would it be better to get them powder coated a gold colour? Might well last longer...

Sadly the OEM colour code for the wheels isn't known though given that there isn't any matching gold on the bike any form of gold should be able to do the trick

Well,I've just bought a couple of.cans of Plastikote spray enamel, just over a fiver for 400ml. I'll let yoi know how it turns out. Looked in Halfords first but nothing they stock looked remotely close!
