Solved Brembo banjo bolt pitch

Post by RustyRed on Sat 09 Jun 2018, 4:21 pm

Does anyone know the size and pitch of the banjo bolts for the brembo calipers?

I installed Hel lines and they sent me the wrong size bolts. 3 were just too big and 1 looked about the same size as OEM but didn't fit. I fitted the brakes lines with my OEM banjo bolts and contacted Hel.

They will happily sent me the correct bolts but insist that the one smaller bolt they send should have been the proper bolt. They would like me to confirm that the smaller bolt they sent does/does not fit before they send out more bolts. I don't feel like taking a line off and having to bleed the system to see if they are correct about the bolt they sent. They claim the correct size is "M10X1" which I assume means M10 with a 1.00 pitch. I thought I read somewhere that the pitch is 1.25 but I could be wrong and it is difficult to find any info on the internet.

Thanks,

Greg

There is a post somewhere in @jerryfudd's thread in the project builds about the different threads.
