Hi from a potential newbie

Post by bobcb500 on Sat 02 Jun 2018, 9:51 pm

Hi all from an expat in the Belgium Ardenne.

I've got a bee in my bonnet about having a road going CB but also for use on track, so I can wring out my adrenaline gland once in a while Laughing

I've always been a bit impressed by the CB and decided it's time to get one to compliment an F650 (18yrs!)  and K75RT (in different guises n sizes since 1995) as it would be a good all rounder and fast enough for me on the twisty circuits like Mettet or Croix.

I've never heard of a common fault for them - are there any? scratch

Look forward to your thoughts.

Regards

Bob

Hi James

Might have bought one by then, I'm hope to see one this week.

Any common faults you know about?

Sending you a PE if I can find out how to do it.

Regards

Really common faults - regulator rectifier goes bang, front engine mount seizes, rusty downpipes with studs welded onto engines.... nothing you wouldn't expect from a 20 year old bike!

I'll be staying in brussels on the 16th and then be heading down towards the black forest direction. Are you close to my route? https://goo.gl/maps/sHL4GS5wNxT2
