Post by Jcamper56 on Sun 20 May 2018, 8:46 pm

Hi thanks for letting me become a member.
Just wondering if anyone can help with this problem.
I have a CB500 1996, when i put he main stand down it collides with the side stand and i have to put the side stand down first and then the main stand, can anyone have a look at the video and see how this compares with theirs, I think something is bent or maybe wrong side stand ?? i dont know.
thanks.

I'm sure I had the same issue but I can't remember is that was before I changed to the longer sidestand or not.

To stop the chain from hitting the main stand I used a 6m60 bolt going through the link pipe where the main stand stopper is/should be.
