centre stand removal

Did a search but cant find how to remove the centre stand can someone point me in the right direction please? Cool

There is a flanged edge on the side stand side on the bike, You pull this out then (if it isn't seized in solid) the side stand will retract forwards due to the springs, unhook the springs and it'll drop off.

Thanks James so the spindle just pulls out passed the side stand,  is there a cotter pin on the otherside or anything that needs removing first?

Yes a split pin and washer normally.
