Currently stuck at my dad's, bikes unridable in the dark. It works okish when the lights are switched off. When I switch them on the engine cuts out and the lights also. So I can ride with  my lights off but obviously can't do that at night.

Getting a replacement one tomorrow when its daylight

Now sorted, still got the electrical issues but they only occur when the headlight is on.
