Congrats Hovis.
Great purchase.

I like the bigger screen (But I am a soft southerner).
I was also torn between liking the looks of a naked, but I do like a screen.

With indicators, personally I like the look of the little ones but I LOVE being seen to indicate from all angles with the big ole original flashers.
(I also have no style but am happy to call it 'retro' or 'original')

Thanks wornsprokets for the heads up on the indicator video from spanner monkey - looks exactly like my problem (except he hasn't gor LEDs fitted) - it looks fiddly but I think a clean out might be exactly what it needs.  If then it still doesn't work maybe I will go back to the originals - I agree Grarea - I would rather people see my indicators than have ones that look better but don't work!!

So after all the advice and support on buying the new bike thought I'd better put some decent snaps on here so you can see what all the fuss was about (many thanks by the way). Now cleaned up after its 4 hour trailer ride in the rain - not that it needed much - and a quick first run - only things I can find are the indicator issue which I am sure will be solved with a clean out and a very small scratch (to be honest its so small its sort of a scratch minus)
on the left rear fairing - other than that it sort of like new!!!

Even the downpipes and exhaust look as new, bet it has never seen rain, except on its journey down to you. We will have to arrange a club ride over to France and have a look. Me thinks they also make some nice wines down your part of France drunken drunken drunken

Sounds like a great idea - lots of great roads, all quiet and the odd drop of plonk - St Emilion is 30 mins from us!!

Many thanks skyerae and Skyrider - tried normal WD 40 on the LED indicators and no change (fault was delayed starting indicating on the right, and indicators only worked to left if you held the switch to the left). WD 40 Contact Cleaner arrived today:   https://www.amazon.co.uk/WD40-Drying-Contact-Cleaner-250ml/dp/B00KPUBO2S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520373824&sr=8-1&keywords=wd40+contact+cleaner

Was going to have a good go at sorting it on Thursday, but thought what the hell an hour ago, so gave it a spray (didn't take the switch off just sprayed either side of the button with it pushed left then right). Just tried indicators and they work perfectly on both sides, and with no delay starting blinking!!

If it happens again will take the switch apart and give it a proper clean - but problem sorted!!!

Superb, well chuffed you got the problem sorted. Nice looking bike, it looks almost new - unlike my sad sorry overworked example.

Thanks all - I am currently annoying the Mrs by buying nearly the full range of new WD 40 cleaners, chain grease, etc (as well as Mucoff) so plenty of polishing is going on!!!

First big day out - bit rusty (me, not the bike). Surprised by what I have remembered and even more surprised by what I have forgotten - but great fun!!! Luckily the French still shut all their supermarkets on Sunday afternoon, so will be doing my own remedial class on U turns, junctions, etc

Now back to polishing.......
