seen a cb500 on e-bay in London. Done 123,000 does not look to bad for mileage. Asking £600 and has a  bid   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-cb-500-cheapest-long-mot-good-runner/192446731795d mmmmm Cool

I'm always dying to know how much of the bike is original, and how it's been looked after when these sorts of cb500s come up.

here it is

Right okay - fine. My green one I sold back in August for £500 was way better than that, i.e. ran brilliantly and was cosmetically leagues ahead of that shed.

Dunno yeah mebbe. Are there actually even any couriers left? I thought email killed 'em all off decades ago.  Smile

Anyway all I really meant was that bike's a fair bit dearer than the one I sold - and bear in mind too that I sold mine in summer(-ish).

There are plenty of couriers about.
It's just that most of them are riding scooters now and can't understand English .
I recall being told that fax (yes I am old enough to have been a courier then) and later e-mail and all the other communication methods that appear would finish off the industry.
Now there are just so many that nobody is earning a decent living from it nowadays.
