Fuel exhaust

Post by pete7mzs on Mon 15 Jan 2018, 10:05 pm

Been thinking of getting a fuel exhaust can now I know the bike is OK, My CB5s has got a Motad system fitted luckily with stainless down pipes. Does anybody know if the fuel link pipe will fit straight on the pipes or not. what is the diameter of the standard pipe?. Is there still a discount on the Fuel system?. Thanks guys.

I bought a Fuel Exhaust for my first CB and it fitted straight on, no problems and it sounded great even with the Baffle in, never tried it with Baffle out, it made a nice note as it was.
Don't know about the discount.

If no one has a definitive answer you could try it and see if it still works...

Don't know about Motad down pipes but my fuel exhaust fits fine to the Delkevik down pipes that I bought...

Yes a Fuel exhaust will fit on to Motad stainless pipes. These are the same diameter as existing Honda downpipes.

Thanks very much for that Dave, by the way I read your post on the fork gaiters I think I'll get some of those, are they still OK , are they not overstretched when forks are at full stretch I measured my fork leg gap as about 180mm.  Thanks mate.

Fork gaiters are still fine, not overstretched at all. Will have to see how they go longterm, but at the price they are a good buy. Also look far better and keep rain and crud of forks  Cool
