I need to get some steel and rebuild part of my subframe, metal has straight up cracked where the bolts go under the seat for the luggage rack.

It's done it before, I repaired it but it's now gone again in a slightly different place. I'm half contemplating getting a givi rack with the long arms, or fitting the wingraCK I've got but, Still like the thought of making my own

very handy things are racks on bikes you just haven't to overload them

Think it's more from the rack cracking and twisting which has caused the subframe to crack
