You may find this link helpful.
Titanium or alloy rods would have to be custom made and have a very short life compared to steel ones. As well as being very expensive!
High lift cams are only going to work well if you replace the valve guides with shorter ones as there's not much clearance on the standard ones.
Knife edging and polishing the crankshaft is only really necessary to reduce drag if the crankshaft is heavily submerged in oil, our isn't really.
Pistons, race carbs and ignition are all available if you know where to look or prepared to put the research time in.

Thanks. For info.

Andyc way you think Titanium rods would have short life? Moust nowdays biks all have titanium rods and italians las 10years use them on street prodaction bikes.
They are costy thats true....I first will find how lighter they are compeared to stock ones.

Also if somebody know. How much lighter can be done thondersport cb500? If stock dry us 173kg is that posible to get something under 140kg.

How much is weight of CBR500R rear wheel?....as from visual it seems much lighter then cb500 (2000).
