Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Well just saying hi folks. I have a 99 cb500 in yellow and am currently fitting a cbr250 mc19 front end on and tidying up the bike as she had a few hard years of late. Just wondering how common were yellow 500s

Hello and welcome. My CB5 is yellow, was red, but bought a donor bike and changed to yellow.
I quite like it because I think it make me easier to be seen.

Yeah as yellow stands out and there is a joke between me and a friend that yellow is the fastest colour. So was yellow unusual in them as never see pics of them.

True you don't see many, in fact I haven't seen one since I changed mine.
By the way, the Boys on hear say that the Blue ones are the fastest.

Happy Days.

Great user moniker, I also note your one of those people "who get up early". Yellow cbs are fairly rare, but great bikes regardless of colour.

Hello there!

I, too, own a yellow one, but the "S" faired version. And yes, they are indeed faster !! Laughing

Great! My garage looks a bit like this also :) That yellow colour (with the purple stripe) looks really 1990s - not in a bad way, in a good way. My bike is black and silver (the previous owner did a spray can job on it).
