Just bought a low mileage cb.
It came with a full fairing which I have removed and returned to original.
I have to say it is great fun
Only problem is the misfire between 4500 and 6500 which I need to cure.

Glad to hear you are having fun.

How bad is the misfire? If you look at the rev/torque curve there is a flat-spot which you could mistake for a minor misfire. I suspect your problem is not this but I thought I should mention it.

The bike certainly does take off at 7k rpm, so what comes before can feel a bit pedestrian!
