Air box elimination

Post by Spic on Sun 10 Sep 2017, 7:08 am

Hi all, I'm thinking of eliminating the air box on my CB500 twin as part of the brat/cafe racer project I'm doing, is there any simple kits available to do this with ?
Cheers

Thanks Andy, I'm struggling to find much info on people do anything to these bikes really , it seems the earlier models were felted with a lot more. Looks like I my be keeping the box, the bike runs nice so wouldn't want to change that

Check out my track bike project thread. People do quite a lot of things to these 500's.
Now I think about it I do have a pair of fireblade carbs that I modified to suit the bike. It was only when the FCR39's came up that they took a place on the shelf marked ' to be sorted later'
