Carb idle screw stuck

Post by wrighty on Mon 21 Aug 2017, 8:09 am

Just starting refurb/customise project on 02 model. Hasnt run for 6 years. Carbs cleaned but one idle screw siezed and ive managed to damage screw top using a normal screwdriver instead of honda tool. The other screw turns ok. Any suggestions?

The only consolation I can offer is that if the screw is tight it would still be chewed up with a Honda tool.
Careful use of a drill and stud extractor is my method of preference.
