Slinky Glide speedo cable

Post by jchesshyre on Sun 18 Jun 2017, 6:55 pm

Slinky Glide (from wemoto.com) seem fine for clutch cables. I've not tried their throttle cables.

However I've had one of their speedo cables on for a while and all I'd noticed with it was some wobbling of the speedo needle at 60mph and ±5mph. But I've just got round to putting a Honda one on and I now realise that not only was the SG one more sluggish to move when accelerating but it was also causing the speedo to under-read by a couple of mph! So I would say do not buy one.

Hopefully my fuel economy will now 'improve' a bit...
