Post by Mercury on Fri 21 Apr 2017, 5:41 pm

Hi
I have a  2007 CBF500 A6 in as new condition.I love the bike but find the rear suspension very hard. I have adjusted the standard shocker to its softest setting but still find it hard. I am 14 stone .
Has anybody any idea,s.

Adjusting the preload won't actually have any affect on how soft the suspension feels. The spring rate remains the same. It's purpose is to adjust the sag. Maybe you can experiment a bit with rear tyre pressure within reasonable limits.
