Hi all, can anyone tell me where I can get a pad spring for my front Brembo Caliper?

If you have tried the usual places, David Silvers, Wemoto etc without luck I found the rear caliper is the same as the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 and therefore the anti rattle clip thingy here pictured was the same. (you cant buy this from honda).Ordered from https://www.apriliapartsbuyer.co.uk/ which unfortunately are no longer accepting orders. However, whether this is the front or rear caliper if you find a matching brake pad part no for another bike using brembos the part/spring should be the same.

I've had a look into this and I can't seem to find any information and the caliper looks different. How did you manage to find out that it fits?

Well it was a bit of luck, but I figured that if the Brake Pad was the same specification and both calipers were Brembo, then the pad springs/plates should be the same size as the matching pad.

Another bike which has the same rear Brembo caliper as the CB500 is the BMW S1000RR.
I've put some links below showing the same EBC Brake Pad No.

http://www.brandedbiker.co.uk/EBC-HH-Motorcycle-Brake-Pads/EBC-FA-213-HH-Rear-Brake-Pads-for-Honda-CB500-97-03-2132/

However its cheaper ordering the Aprilia Part No. rather the BMW one.

I've found some cross matching Parts from other bikes as well in relation to the Forks internals/bushes/oil seals. They may even share the the same fork tubes as some simmiliar CC bikes, this I'm still looking into.

I've been looking into the pad holder clip today and can't find a pattern or eve an OE one which is available to order - either for the front or the rear caliper. I'm just wondering how easy it would be to get a stamp made up to replicate them.

The springs you can get at least for the front from wemoto but not the pad holding clip

Just brought a set of pad retaining clip, anti rattle spring , pin and R clip for a bmw f800s these are identical to the CB ones. On mine the pads had worn a slot through the clip and into the bracket so that when i braked the pad didn't slide back from the disc.

What caliper is it for and any chance of a link or part number

It was from moto-bins described as brake caliper pin kit f650 RR . Although the one for f800 looks the same. Why they are not available from honda who knows . On that note why aren't the pins the caliper slides on available?
