Cbf500a clutch problem

Post by Arnold40 on Sun 16 Apr 2017, 12:42 pm

Hi!
I rebuild my engine (crankshaft bearings) and replaced the needle bearing from the clutch basket also.
It runs fine, but the clutch doesn't come completely free. When engaging first gear, the bike rolls forward. Also downshifting is hard.
I'm pretty sure the gearbox is fine (didn't take it apart), and the clutch/plates are fine also.
I can't find any info on how far the needle bearing should be pressed into the basket, could that be the problem?
