Clutch binding ???

Post by Grarea on Sun 16 Apr 2017, 9:57 am

I thought that I would make a specific thread on this.
Can I get some help please?

It sounds like my clutch is binding.

With it in gear and the engine off, on centre stand, clutch in.
I can't move the back wheel.

I am hoping to minimise cost and down time as it is my only transport.

So, first things first, I am considering if it might be just be a stretched cable.
With both ends tightened and clutch in, I still can't move the wheel.
Any other tests?

This is the position with everything tightened up and clutch pulled in.
Does yours pull further than that please?
This would show that the cable has stretched or if it is something internal I suspect?
