Downpipe cleaners

Post by muttley1 on Mon 20 Mar 2017, 8:13 pm

Following on the general enthusiasm for Harpic to get road crud off downpipes etc I'd like to add a vote for barkeepers friend. I suppose its the same stuff really (mildly abrasive material in paste form). I went over my new exhaust with it (see pics of it now on my bike in the for sale section) and it did shine up an already pretty clean exhaust.

Anyone use other domestic stuff for cleaning etc?

Can second Bar Keepers Friend, was suggested to me some time ago on the street fighters forums for rotten 600 Bandit downpipes
