CB500 1997 Full Fairing?

Post by johnasoltys on Mon 13 Feb 2017, 1:15 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the site so please be gentle!
I bought a CB500 last August and love riding it, but i would love to smarten her up a little.
Does anyone know if there is a full fairing available for the bike? I can't find one anywhere

arg, wrote out a detailed message and apparently it didn't post.

The fairings that you see are indeed aftermarket, most were made my powerbronze. You can make other fairings fit like what @burning_rubber did.

I don't think that powerbronze do a fairing for the CB500 anymore - you do see the sometimes on ebay.

Skidmarx do one, however if I was going to buy one I would ring them first to confirm I had the right thing:

most after market fairings mount to the frames head stock with a u bolt, i got a home made frame welded on to the back of a u clamp, yes it works but be very careful lol (see test ride below) to be very honest the power bronze stuff is the best, but lighting is very poor, top speed on the other hand is improved

i MAY have one for sale soon but work is a bit heavy at the min, and most evenings am planning my trip so ill let you know if i find it
