wider tires?

hello!! has anyone gone up in tire size? on the stock rim.. 2000 cb500 with disks 
it now 130/110 i want to go up to 150 or 140 on the rear and 120 front.. doable?

Wider wheels are the safest way to get wider tyres. I have run 120/160 tyres for years. I have a thread somewhere explaining it.

120 and 140 is fine to use don't use anything larger without changing the rim.

I'd definitely agree with this. I've been happily running 120/70 front and 140/70 rears with no issues, but the standard rims wouldn't take anything bigger I don't think.
