Hi from Kent

Post by ThunderChild1898 on Sun 06 Nov 2016, 10:25 pm

Hi everyone! My name is Ian, from Kent. Change in work means I'm in the process of 'downgrading' from my brilliantly powerful FZR1000 streetfighter...so just bought my second CB500s! Owned it for a couple of weeks now. Its a 99 reg in black and is my new hack/commuter/toy! My previous cb500s was colonel custard yellow bought in 2008 and was my courier bike for a couple of years(before I swapped to an NTV650). However I've always had a soft spot for these reliable old dogs, I remember hating getting rid of my previous CB so I'll try hanging on to this one...oh and NOT paint it matt black turning it into a rat! Cheers!

BTW, have no idea how to post pictures!

Hi Ian. Welcome to the forum.

If you use the search facility, there's loads of info about pictures. You'll need a photobucket account (or similar).

It would be good to see a picture of your 'old dog'!

Hello!

You made the right choice getting another CB500 (mind you we would think that) Smile

There is a link that explains how to post pictures here:
