[solved]Front brake spring pad fitting

Post by SanchoPanza on Fri 23 Sep 2016, 12:46 am

Hi!

As I was changing my front brake pads earlier, the "spring pad" (this little metal clip thing) fell out of the caliper... it literally fell out, so now I'm sort of at a loss as to where it's supposed to go... I've got Brembo calipers btw.

Any tips?

Also: first post! Hi from Norway!

Thanks!

There are little 'jaws' that stick up on the spring. They locate into a groove on the calliper.

Welcome!

Thanks for answering!

That was so easy I'm slightly ashamed of having to ask now - but I'm new to bikes, and when it comes to brakes I guess it's always better to make sure Smile
