Strange.....

Post by sullivj on Mon 19 Sep 2016, 8:32 am

At this time of year, my bike never needs choke - it just starts on the button.

I started it this morning, and left it (as I do) to warm up.  As I walked away, it died, which NEVER happens.

As I walked back to it, I realised the headlight wasn't on, and the indicator was flashing.... and then I realised why...

My 7 year old was sitting on the bike as I cleaned it yesterday, and had moved every switch, and put the choke on half - which is why it died.  Kids, don't you just love them!

It could've been worse.  I once spent about half an hour checking everything over & scratching my head before I realised someone had flipped the kill switch!

It's the "urge to press a button" - my two seem to function on the principle of "try first, ask second" - as in prod-prod-prod..."what does this one do, dad??"

Yeah - that one...that one's the ejector seat. I SAID THAT ONE'S....too late.

Lol, thought it was just me.
Mine was a tidy minded 19 year old.

Didn't take me half an hour though.
