With two requests for shims this week, it must be the time of year for checking your clearances.

If you have any spare shims that you would like to donate for the benefit of others, please PM me.

I assume that as engines age and the valve gear beds in, that required replacement shims will in general be in the thinner sizes. Are you finding that the Exchange is becoming overstocked with the thicker shims as people swap ?

All my 210s are being swopped for 205s and my 205s being swopped for 200s. That s at 29k miles. As you say inevitable as the cb ages.

Yes, there are more of the larger sizes, but I still have quite a few of the smaller ones too.

Hi,

I have too plenty of those sizes in my shim box which I would be happy to donate. There is an as a assortment of atleast 40 I could send. In return would you be happy to put my business cards in each of the exchanges you do for the forseeable future? I specialise in tuning these engines for racing.

Let me know,
