Tango's Leaking...

Post by sullivj on Fri 29 Jul 2016, 5:49 pm

Noticed that one of the fork seals is leaking today Shocked

So, she's booked in to my trusted mechanic tomorrow for now seals. His quote of £110 seemed reasonable to me.

seems like a fair price though it is a fairly simple job. I can see why you wouldn't want to do it and you'd need a seal driver

Yep, easy home fix. Use decent quality seals if you do, mind. Just think of all the cleaning you can do along the way.

£110 on a cb5 fork seal, definite diy.

666 ! The number of the beast - I resurrected a cb5 a few years ago, its mileage counter was at 666.6 when I started so it was affectionately known as project satan. Anyone seen L839STP? I bet its out there calling for home!

Enjoying my new bike means I don't have the time or inclination to faff abut with Tango at the moment. This is an easy way to get it sortred.
