What spark plug caps for the 1995 CB500?!

Post by SanderBB on Sun 19 Jun 2016, 10:47 am

Hey guys!

This is driving me crazy. I've been searching for 3 hours! what spark plug caps I need to buy for my 1995 CB500.
Is there anyone who can help me with this? I came as far as that I need a 10mm one, and I prefer NGK spark plugs but what type do I need?

YD-05F
XD-05F
VD-05F
SD-05F
LD-05F

These are the choices.

Can anyone help me with this? Smile
Thanks so much!

Another reason that I fitted fireblade 'stick' coils. To uncomplicate things.

Hello.

My first question would be why do you want to replace them? The original ones seem to last a long time. I do appreciate they may be reaching the age when they fail.

You could get an original one from Honda, number 5 from here:

http://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_motorcycle_parts_selection_pfk.php?block_01=13MY5WEA&block_02=F__2700&block_03=1612&block_04=xx&block_05=hmc

If you didn't want to spend on them you can probably find second-hand ones on ebay.

Or there are some replacement ones (like you were quoting in your email):
