Aftermarket levers

Post by Dygo on Wed 15 Jun 2016, 4:10 pm

Hey there, new to this forum.

Anyways I've been looking to replace my levers with some shorty aftermarket ones for my Honda CB500.

I've recently bought a pair of clutch and break levers to fit a Hornet 600, thinking that those would fit my motorcycle but as I got them in the mail today they didn't fit Sad

They were simply too big or too thick.

I read this post: http://www.cb500club.net/t1021-adjustable-levers

saying Brake: F18 clutch: H-626 would fit.

As already stated these didn't fit.

My question is now, what do I buy so that I'm sure they'll fit my motorcycle.

I'm driving a 2003 Honda CB500. No "S" no "F", just the plain CB500.

Hi, these are the avdb levers that fit the brembo cb 500:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/avdbmoto/?_dmd=2&_nkw=HONDA+CB+500+MC+BREMBO%091997-2002

I had these installed on my bike:

Pictured in this post:

When I placed the order I  sent the seller a message to confirm that they would fit the brembo brake and so they did.

Thanks for the reply!

I've been told that I need some sort of adapter for the brake lever? like in the picture

Is this true?

if so, will they send it with the levers if just I notify them that they are for a brembo?

My levers did not have any adapters, they were ready to fit.

The avdb e bay shop  are easy to communicate with and are aware of the  different versions, just send them a message to make sure everything is ok.

It's just that I would like them in Shorties, orange non flip up, and there is only flip ups on the Ebay UK page.

They are however available from their website, so ordering directly from their site shouldn't make a big difference from ordering from their Ebay site, should it?

Yes, I guess ordering from their website is the same.
