Kinda new

Post by balth on Fri 25 Mar 2016, 1:12 pm

I neglected to say hello when I joined. Terribly rude, I know. So hello! I passed my DAS in december 21st and bought a yellow CB 500S with a rotted exhaust which I'm in the process of replacing. (I bought a fuel exhaust from gumtree for it the other day for £30 which I'm still waiting on arriving, but i figure if it's a con then it's only £30 and I can get it back from paypal.)

I've been riding my almost shiny CB since I got it and love the thing. It feels so fast sometimes it's scary! Does zero to oh shit in the blink of an eye! I also have a cg125, a chinese 125 and my better half has a 1981 Kawasaki z250c that is pristine and original, it's a pretty bike for a pretty lady!

I've already used the info here to diagnose my non starting issue as a faulty reg/rec and replaced it with one from a cbr600, so thanks for the info! And, yeah, hi...

Cb is a great bike, rotten exhausts and faulty regulator rectifiers affect nearly all 90s hondas as r,r used in nearly all of them and cheap made downpipes and exhausts
