Hello

Post by AndyD on Sat 27 Feb 2016, 9:52 pm

Hello, my name is Andy. I have recently purchased a CB500 which I am in the process of converting to a race bike. There has been a huge surge of interest up here for the CB class at East Fortune (south of Edinburgh)where they will be running alongside Senior Post Classic bikes. At the moment it is estimated that there will be around 15/20 CBs on the grid which should be amazing Very Happy  I previously had a Cb500v as a road bike, this one is a  '94 r model. Looking forward to getting out on it,first practice day is 20th March. As a consequence of stripping this bike I have lots of road parts available and cheap but that's for another thread of course..

Thanks guys. I will get a few pics organised soon, bike is at a mates lockup in Edinburgh for now during prep. It will be a bit "rough and ready" though at the moment as I have another 2 bikes to race this season too. I saw a gumtree ad last year as the Cb thing was taking off up here and couldn't resist as it was only 5 mins away Smile .
