Not tried these but I've had similar shaped led winkers before (oxford diamond shape) with inline resistors (just enough space for them in the headlight bowl for thefront ones) to correct the flash rate.
Even though it states it fits a cb500,  there's no info in the listing so it may be worth checking if it has 21w bulbs in so you don't have issues. Some only come with 6w bulbs.

They'll sit closer to the headlight than the originals & if you bolt the rears to the mudguard instead of the grabrail/givi rack you might find clearance issues with the numberplate. Long stem indicators would solve this.

I wouldn't go that far. Almost anything is an improvement over the barn doors the bike came with & it's a simple way of updating the look. Very Happy

i emailed the ebay seller to check the wattage, halfords style look decent but a little put off by the bad reviews regarding bulbs blowing

i saw these, they look a bit cheap they don't cost much anyway, but maybe fine, are our stocks 8mm ??? they are 21w apparently...

Iirc our stocks are 10mm. It's nothing a washer before the nut wouldn't solve.

Those look like the ones that I've got fitted to mine, now that I'm looking at it in fact they are. They're slightly too small for the indicator holes but they mount fine due the crush washer and the nut. I'll go and get a few pics for them for you!

Edit: They're not the ones I've got, mine are the carbon ones and they have the screw on them, you want the ones with the screw in the back so you'd be able to change the bulb if required.

I've decided I like the look of these, e marked too , would 23w bulb be an issue?

They'll flash a tiny bit slower but it should be fine. Worst case 4 21w bulbs will fix it.

I've never had stock fitted to my bike but these indicators are stupidly bright, at night I can see the colour they emit reflecting off the road.
I previously had some LED ones that came with the bike and you couldn't see when they were flashing with these you can (I've seen when my dad rides my bike)

I've fitted the Bike it mini smoked indicators (long stem) to my CB, they look a lot smarter than oem imo.  The only issue I had was water getting into the lens which was fixed by removing the lens and smearing a bit of grease around the edge.

They look really nice Jim, definitely better than the originals.

Kinda wish I bought them instead of the 23w eBay ones I bought in haste on Sunday

I have same ones as Jim but the clear lens version (Also on a red S model! Jim's is shinier though.).
Also had the same problem with water or condensation, but they were very cheap and are about seventy times brighter than the LEDs I took off.

Yeah, they are pretty good considering they are cheap; very bright too.
I don't think they survive a tumble like the OEM's but for the replacement price that's not really an issue.  It's just a pity they don't have a rubber seal between the lens and the housing but there you go...
