hi all is it possable to fit a main stand to my 08 cbf 500 at the moment only has a side stand thanks

Yes, Honda sell them as optional extras.

Might be cheaper just to get a paddock stand for stuff you need the rear wheel off the ground for.

called a honda dealer today 112 quid for a centre stand none on e bay or gumtree going to get a pair of pddock stands do i need bobbins?

Abba bike stands are amazing better than paddock stands. Think stand is 70 pounds and fitting kit about 25. I bought a second had one and bought fitting kit for my fireblade havent bought cb one yet

The Abba stands are great for working on the bike but they are a bit cumbersome - I use my paddock stand as much as possible especially when cleaning.

The standard cups should work as you have a square swingarm. Bobbins are a bit more secure & offer crash protection if you can fit them.
It all depends which paddock stand you get & what fittings it has really. Plenty 2nd hand to be had on the bay cheaply especially if you're willing to collect.
