A new boy from Norfolk!

Post by Danelectro on Thu 01 Oct 2015, 2:03 pm

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd drop in and say hello, I'm a new owner of a 2002 CB500, which I only got last sunday....I'm also a new biker having got my full licence just two weeks ago, and I have to say I am totally hooked on motorbikes!!!   At my tender 46 years of age, I now know I should have done this years ago!!!!

Anyway, my CB500 has 56000 on the clock, and in fairly good condition for its age, I'm sure things will need doing, so I shall be perusing this excellent forum :-)

All for now

Welcome Danelectro! I used to live in Norwich, but now reside in Beccles. I passed my test at 18, 22 years ago. I've had many, many bikes and the CB500 is one of the slowest and least powerful bikes I've had in years, but it's also one of the best; I shall always have a CB500 in my life!

I took my intergalactic mileage CB to the the TT this year and here's some footage I took from Ramsey to the Creg. A Ducati 1098 appears at 7m30s for a riding lesson...

At 56k, your bike is a relative youngster :-)

Bungay to Beccles, flat oot; if you've got the spuds, these bikes have the gravy!
