Solved Exhaust system, Hagon Shocks & Scrubs

Post by scottrichardwalker on Mon 27 Jul 2015, 8:03 pm

Evening All

I will soon be undertaking my first track day following modifying my road CB500 to a track machine.

Does anyone have any scrubs going and a stainless exhaust system (Currently have BT45 Tyres on and stock exhaust).

Also looking for some hagon shocks.

Thanks in advance

Scott

Hi James

I bought them from a Thundersport racer on Gumtree. If you want some scrubs then many of the Thundersport guys sell their scrubs cheaply after race meetings.

This is my first foray into using Bridgestone S20 Evos so will be interesting to see how they compare to my standard road going BT45s.

Racing scrubs aren't really a good choice for winter tyres. They don't respond well to cold/ wet weather.

Hi Andy

Correct, I would not advise them for road use. I picked them up for use on my track bike!

Hi Muttley

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of your micron can. Looks ideal really, but I'm looking for something a bit cheaper as funds are tight at the moment.
