Cold Bluing Scratches

Post by jerryfudd on Thu 11 Jun 2015, 10:05 am

think posting in this section is a first for me but needed to touch up a scratch on some anodised fork legs so decided to try something other than paint and came across cold bluing.

I bought this stuff off eBay after reading a recommendation and some instructions off a non-motorbike site.

Basically degrease, wash with water, dry, apply the blueing agent, wait 30-60seconds, wash off with water, dry and repeat.

Not too bad I thought - of course in an ideal world there would be no scratch!

I'll be interested to see how it stands up to the weather!

Other than that, it looks good.
