Hand guards

Post by alvamiga on Thu 05 Feb 2015, 11:40 pm

I have been having a quick look about on the web for a set of hand guards that'll go with my bike. Don't want anything fancy, mostly just to act as a wind break and keep the cold air at least a bit at bay. Smile I'm not keen on muffs as I don't want my hands completely enveloped.

Does anyone have any recommendations? It was suggested to me previously to get ones that connect both sides, rather than just on one side and lever across, but beyond that I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at and what the differences are between a £10 set and a £50 set!

I bought these a few weeks ago. Not the prettiest in the world, but I think they suit my bike as it has a smoked fly screen and is slowly turning to all matt black panels. I would say they are only suitable as windbreakers as there is no metal bar running through it, but not sure on that. Very cheap too.
