tyre size

hi i am glad to be here...recently i changed tyres mmy mechanic put 100/80/17 front and 130/80/17 rear soft....is this size the propper one cause steering now is a little bit different...thx

New tyres will always feel different and make the bike much quicker to tip into bends.

However the correct sizes for the CB500 are 110/80-17 and 130/80-17. Unless you asked him for the narrower front one, he should change it for a 110.
