Rear Wheel Bearing Spacer

Post by jerryfudd on Thu 18 Dec 2014, 1:33 pm

Any one got or know where I can get the bearing spacer tube that goes inside the rear wheel?

COLLAR, RR. WHEEL DISTANCE - 42620-MY5-730

I've got one on order with my local dealer but they seem to have some supply issues and although I've been assured its coming - its coming from Japan and the current eta is April 2015?!

Odd part I know but at the moment its the only thing stopping the rebuild commencing - below is the reason why Shocked

I know its probably not beyond a clean up but id much rather a new one or at least a better'er one Very Happy

Dan, have you tried David Silver or Lings?

They might have one on the shelf?

Pfffft, that just needs a quick scrub and a coat of WD40 Smile

What do you mean you're not going to re-use those bearings.... ho ho ho

I can't help with where to get one from (other than the suggestions above). If honda can't get one then I suspect you could get one made out of a suitable bit of round section steel bar with the middle drilled out (assuming you can find somone with a biiig pillar drill).

Tried ebay or a local breakers? They might have one inside a CB500 wheel. You could buy the whole thing (for the right price) and sell the wheel bit on ebay.
