Mobile devices - ???

Post by Beresford on Mon 02 Jun 2014, 3:28 pm

I've just joined the modern world as I've been given a tablet computer as a present. I thought 'Great. I'll be able to keep tabs on the site while away from home' however I've found that this forum is totally unreadable on my android device - an Acer Iconia. Grey lettering on a grey background , it looks like.

Any recommendations on how to deal with this ?

I think there's an icon in the top right hand corner of the site on your tablet that says "View in classic mode", or something like that.  I had the same problem with my Ipad.

Once I'd set the classic mode, the Ipad remembered it and all was well.

Download google chrome on the App Store and then try it and if it's the same there may be a button in the top right to switch it to the normal site

You're a genius. It was there - a bit hidden in a menu but all is well now. Many thanks.

Glad you're sorted. Took me a while to work that one out too!

Hi all involved. Yes the site has some visibility issues surrounding the mobile experience. It's something that is being worked on right now, and we will keep everyone posted on this progress.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
