tyre sizes!!!

Post by hudders on Mon 19 May 2014, 1:34 pm

guys and girls;

I am trying to get my tyres done, on the front at moment i have a 120/70/17, on the rear a 140/80/17

both these are not standard, the 120 is ok to source, the 140 they are saying no one does, so im being advised to go to standard 130 and 110. even then i cant get what i want - the michelin pilot road 3.

the forks have been dropped 6mm ish i reckon now because of teh wider front with lower profile, to assist turning?

Advice?

The pilot road 3 is a radial tyre and would need wider rims than the standard CB500 wheels.
The difference radials made is fantastic and well worth the effort of changing the wheels.
I think my thread is in the upgrade section Very Happy
