Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

but you can probably order them from a Honda dealer (which, oddly, is sometimes cheaper).
Cheers. Before seeing this I have ordered some through:

http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/honda/cb_500_sy_s2/00-02/

Some OEM stuff available and stuff in the post within a day so fingers crossed all is good.
Yes, wemoto is good.  It is worth (sometimes) comparing the price, as things can, sometimes, be cheaper elsewhere.

They weren't selling the fork bushes when I did mine a few years ago.

I am glad to hear that, the stuff did arrive next day so impressed with their service and all the parts are OEM so all good. Got to admit I went rushing to the packet to open it up when I read your post to make sure it was bushes that I ordered, relieved to say the bushes are there.
As for the prices, totally agree, maybe I should have shopped around, I guess I just spotted the site and went for it as their parts list seemed fairly impressive.

That said, seeing as I have the forks in bits I have decided to fit Hagon progressive springs and just have it done, along with 15W oil. I was also interested in some Hagon shocks but noticed that Wemoto dont supply the adjustable damping version. I went and had a look at the Hagon site and the springs were £8 cheaper so I gave them a ring. I ordered the springs and the adjustable shocks and got them next day delivery as they were in stock but when I spoke to Wemoto they said they were made to order and could take over a week.
