KM500 DID Style Chain Splitter & Riveter

Post by geewhizz on Sat 18 May 2013, 11:03 am

for anyone wanting a breaker/riveter... I bought this off fleebay and used it to break my old substantial (non DID chain) and replace and rivet my new DID chain with no problems at all.

Seems like a decent enough bit of kit for the price (I guess its made with a lower grade metal that the original it was modeled on but at the price it seems like a good purchase. I expect it will last many uses .) It's also an easy and satisfying job to do at home Smile
