CB500V front brake master cylinder wanted

Post by Vexx on Sun 05 May 2013, 8:22 pm

As it says, I need a replacement front brake master cylinder for my CB500v.
(That's the Brembo model)

The piston keeps sticking at the far end of it's travel - returning just far enough to result in no brakes affraid
Really not very helpful...

appreciate the thought Smile but the caliper is ok, had it apart and serviced when I got the bike and replaced the (warped) front disc.

You'll probably find that you can refurbish the master cylinder with a rebuild kit, see here for kit.
It's not a hugely difficult job, only special tools you need are circlip pliers.
