Post by ryancook1993 on Wed 14 Nov 2012, 1:45 pm

I know theres been one or two threads about this before but couldnt find the answer.
So did anyone ever manage to find adjustable levers that fit the newer cb 500 with the brembo mc?

..no.

Pain in the arse isn't it? the only solution i could find (although I never tried it) was to swap the master cylinder for an ER5, which has a (pretty crude) adjustable brake lever.
Don't listen to those who might suggest swapping the m/c with a Hornet or CB600 - the piston diameter is too large for the single Brembo caliper - and the lever on it's own doesn't fit the Brembo mount you currently have.

If you do find a solution please do let me know!

I think I might have a measure, do some reading up and see if I can bodge something up.That is, get a set of the fake pazzos for a bike with similarish measurements and see what I can do to get it to fit lol. Will let everyone know if I manage to bodge anything up lol.
