Ebay rads from china

Has anyone on here ever used one.... quite like the idea of a nice shiny one

Not personally, I've literally just ordered a new Delkevic one from ebay because the rad has sprung a leak.

I don't think I'd trust a radiator arriving intact through the post from China myself.

Given that the delkevic ones here:

are only 20 quid more expensive than the other one and are of known quality, personally, when I had this choice the other month, I went with the delkevic one - I have since been on a number of long journeys plus my somewhat shorter commute and haven't had any problems.

Most things are made in China! I'd just rather buy from the UK rather than risk the fins being squashed in overseas transit. That just my opinion of course!

It's not the 'made in China' bit that is the problem (as you say, everything is), it is the possibility of poor quality and/or being messed around by an overseas ebay seller - it might well be worth it if they were half the price!
